Hazardous Disposal Specialists was founded in San Diego, California, in January 1992, on a simple premise: the hazardous waste industry needed someone who would stay on the phone with the regulator until the file was closed. The company is headquartered in Truckee today, and thirty-four years later, that's still what we do.

We're a licensed broker, not a facility owner — and that distinction is the whole business. National waste conglomerates are tied to their own high-cost disposal sites; every drum they handle carries a financial incentive to route to their facility, whether or not it's the right or cheapest option for you. We're not. We broker the entire market to find the safest, most cost-effective licensed disposal route for your specific waste, then own the paperwork from profile to final disposition.
